Yes, we offer accommodation both on and off campus.

• On-campus accommodation is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Female students are guaranteed on-campus accommodation.

Fort Portal College of Health Sciences does not offer scholarships directly. However, Ugandan nationals may apply for:

• Partial government sponsorship, typically applied for while at A-level or immediately after the release of UACE results. Applications are submitted at the Ministry of Education and Sports at Legacy House, and a processing fee may apply.
• Student loans through the Higher Education Students Financing Board (HESFB). 👉 Visit HESFB Website.

Please note: The decision to award a student loan is made solely by the HESFB. Fort Portal College of Health Sciences does not participate in the loan selection process or in any communication regarding its outcome.
However, for government sponsorships awarded through the Ministry of Education and Sports’ Joint Admissions Board (JAB), the College does communicate the results to admitted students.

You will be notified of your application outcome by the last weekend of June. Please make sure your contact details are accurate to receive timely updates.

Yes, course changes are allowed. Students may change their course within the first three weeks from the date of reporting. We encourage you to seek guidance before deciding, as many students who have changed courses after careful consideration have gone on to succeed.

Yes, fee payment in two instalments is permitted. The first instalment must be 70% of the total fees.
